4 Palestinians killed by Israeli gunfire, renewed airstrikes on Gaza

At least 4 Palestinians were killed and 120 others injured by Israeli gunfire and airstrikes on different Gaza targets on the 17th Friday of the Great March of Return.

Late Friday, the Israeli occupation army announced that an Israeli soldier was shot in the chest and killed by a sniper near Gaza's eastern border.

The PIC reporter said that Israeli F16 warplanes launched over 35 air raids on different resistance posts across the Gaza Strip.

A spokesman for the Israeli army claimed that a mortar shell fired from the Gaza Strip landed in an open area in Sha'ar HaNegev settlement, while the Iron Dome air defense system intercepted two other projectiles.

Earlier, al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas's armed wing, announced that three of their fighters, identified as Sha'ban Abu Khater, Mohammed Abu Farhana and Mahmoud Qeshta, were killed by Israeli artillery raids on two resistance posts east of Khan Younis and Rafah.

According to Palestinian medical sources, Palestinian youth Mohammed Badwan, 27, was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers while taking part in the Great March of Return east of Gaza city.
