40,000 pray at Al-Aqsa Mosque amid Israeli restrictions

Thousands of worshipers attended Friday prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem amid tight Israeli restrictions.

The Palestinian Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs said that 40,000 worshipers from Jerusalem, the 1948 Occupied Palestine, the West Bank and some Arab countries performed Friday prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Ministry said that Israeli police forces deployed in large numbers around the holy sit and at its gates.
