Aboul Gheit: normalization agreements are not alternative to two-state solution
The Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, said that Israel should not believe that bilateral normalization agreements with Arab countries come instead of settling the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, as they are not an alternative to the two-state solution.
In his article, Aboul Gheit todaycalled on the US President Joe Biden to restore Palestinian confidence in the peace process, which is the only way to hope for the realization of the Palestinian national dream, according to him.
It is noteworthy that the Arab League failed to agree on a Palestinian draft resolution that would reject the normalization agreement concluded between the United Arab Emirates and Tel Aviv.
In previous statements, Aboul Gheit talked about the importance of the effects of the recent Arab normalization decisions with Israel on the unity of the Arab ranks.
