A Palestinian child was pronounced dead on Saturday morning after he succumbed to a serious bullet injury he suffered from during his participation the other day in a March of Return protest staged east of the Gaza Strip.

According to medical sources, 15-year-old child Mu’aad as-Soury died of a bullet injury in his abdomen.

 

Eyewitnesses said that an Israeli sniper shot him directly in his abdomen during his presence on Friday afternoon in a protest rally held east of al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.

 

The health ministry in Gaza already announced the death of a young man called Ahmad Yaghi and the injury of about 200 others during Friday’s border rallies.
