Hamas delegation meets Lebanon PM Hariri
A delegation from the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) has met with Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri.
The delegation included a member of Hamas Political Bureau and Head of Arab and Islamic Relations, Izzat al-Rishq and Hamas representative in Lebanon, Ali Baraka.
The delegation discussed with Hariri the Palestinian situation and the recent developments including the dissolution of the Legislative Council.
During the meeting, al-Rishq said that Hamas is keen to achieve reconciliation, noting that the movement had extended its hand in the past and will continue to do so, and had been very flexible with the brothers in Egypt who sponsor the reconciliation file.
The delegation also discussed with Hariri the status of the Palestinians refugees in Lebanon and recognizing their rights, mainly the right of ownership and the right to work.
The Hamas delegation has also met with heads of the Lebanese security services.
