Hamas holds occupation state responsible for MP Abu Tir’s life

The Hamas Movement has condemned the kidnaping of Palestinian lawmaker Mohamed Abu Tir by the Israeli occupation forces last night from his home in Ramallah city, saying his detention is persistence in targeting Jerusalem, its people and free voices.

In a statement, the Movement held the Israeli occupation state fully responsible for the life of 70-year-old Abu Tir, saying “his detention in the midst of the coronavirus spread reflects the occupation’s sadism and brutality.”

Hamas paid tribute to Abu Tir for his steadfastness and sacrifices, saying he had spent over 35 years of his life in Israeli jails for his national positions and is still banned from entering Jerusalem, his native city.
