The Hamas Movement has held the Israeli occupation government and its prison service fully responsible for the consequences of its persistence in suppressing and committing violations against the Palestinian prisoners in their jails.

In a press release on Tuesday, Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum said that his Movement would not allow the prisoners’ rights to be an arena for Israeli election fights.

“Hamas will not leave the prisoners alone and will keep its promise to them. We will fight all the battles with full force to defend them and their rights until they obtain their freedom,” spokesman Barhoum added.

He urged the Palestinian masses from all spectra to rally around the prisoners and support them in their battle against Israel’s violence and terrorism.
