Hamas movement has described the allegations made by United States Ambassador to the United Nations Kelly Craft as “lies, fabrications, and political bullying”.

Kelly Craft made the allegations in a regular meeting for the UN Security Council about the situation in the Middle East, including the Palestinian issue.

The US ambassador held Hamas responsible for the dire humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip, which is beleaguered by the Israeli occupation since 2006 after the movement won democratic elections.

Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qasem said that such statements were aimed to embellish the image of the Israeli occupation, which has a black history of crimes and violations against the Palestinian people.
