The Hamas Movement has said that the Emirati and Bahraini rulers betrayed Palestine and Jerusalem when they decided to normalize their relations with the Israeli occupation state.

“The Emirati and Bahraini signing of normalization agreements with the occupation is an alignment with the enemies, cooperation with the occupation against our people, and appropriation of the Palestinian rights,” senior Hamas official Sami Abu Zuhri stated in press remarks.

Abu Zuhri affirmed that such agreements would bring no peace to the occupation state and that the Arab peoples would continue to see Israel as their true and only enemy.

In the same context, deputy head of Hamas’s political bureau Saleh al-Aruri has described the normalization agreements that were signed on Tuesday by the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain with Israel as an unfortunate event and a sad day for the Arab and Islamic nations and the UAE and Bahraini peoples.

In televised remarks on Tuesday, Aruri said that the normalization of ties with Israel is a behavior that does not represent the living conscience of the Arab peoples.

“It is unfortunate that there are regimes that are willing to give up the holy sites and the principles of this nation for the sake of trivial personal issues, such as supporting Trump and Netanyahu in the elections in light of their frequent defeats in front of their peoples who are protesting against them,” he said.

“Those who are running into the arms of Israel will find themselves isolated because Netanyahu and Trump are exploiting them for the time being until their personal interests have been fulfilled,” the Hamas official underscored.
