Palestinian Resistance Movement Hamas hailed on Wednesday Chadian Foreign Ministry’s refutation of reports about opening diplomatic mission in occupied city of Jerusalem.

“Hamas warns that opening embassies for any country in the occupied city of Jerusalem surpasses normalisation and reinforces the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian land,” Dr Basim Naim, member of Hamas International Relations Office, said.

“Such a dangerous measure,” Naim stressed, “is a flagrant violation of the international law and a greenlight for the Zionist terrorists to go ahead with their crimes against our people and their inalienable rights to the Islamic and Christian sites in the holy city.”

Meanwhile, Hamas condemned “all normalisation measures being carried out by the Republic of Chad with the occupation state.”

Naim reiterated: “It is impossible to justify this measure under any pretext and we warn of its repercussions on the stability and welfare of the region.”
