Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya said that he came to Tehran to pay tribute to Iranian military commander Qassem Soleimani for his role in supporting the Palestinian resistance 

In remarks to al-Mayadeen satellite channel on Tuesday, Haneyya affirmed that martyr Soleimani had played a strategic and pivotal role in supporting the Palestinian resistance.

He expressed his belief that Soleimani’s assassination would not achieve its goals and only reflected the criminal mindset of the US administration.

The Hamas political chief on Monday visited the house of Soleimani and consoled his relatives.
