Hundreds of Palestinian citizens performed Friday prayer in Khan al-Ahmar, east of Occupied Jerusalem, in defiance of an Israeli plan to demolish the village.

Friday preacher Sheikh Yousef Salama called on Palestinian citizens to intensify their presence in the threatened village and support its residents by all possible means.

 

Sheikh Salama renewed the Palestinian people's total rejection of the so-called "Deal of the Century" and stressed that the US recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital will never change the fact that Jerusalem is an Arab and a Palestinian city.

 

Following the prayer, the Palestinian worshipers marched toward Jerusalem-Jericho road, waved Palestinian flags, and raised banners condemning the US biased policy and Israel's "racist" measures against the Palestinian people.
