Hunger striker Khaled Farraj in poor health condition
Palestinian prisoner Khaled Farraj, from al-Deheisheh refugee camp in Bethlehem, on Thursday entered day 23 of his hunger strike in protest at his detention administratively, with no trial or indictment
Journalist Najeeb Farraj, the prisoner’s uncle, said that the administration of the Negev jail locked up his nephew in an isolation cell with no regard for his worsening health condition.
He added that the hunger striker lost seven kilograms of his weight, became unable to walk and started to vomit continually and suffer from severe dehydration and ongoing pains in his head, stomach and joints.
Khaled Farraj is a physical education teacher and has been in administrative detention for one year and four month.
