Israel sentences Jerusalemite woman to 10 years
The Israeli central court in Jerusalem sentenced on Monday Fadwa Nazih Kamel Hamada, a Palestinian mother of five children to ten years imprisonment and a find of 30,000 NIS ($8,300).
Safa news agency said Hamadah, 31 from the neighbourhood of Sur Bahir on the southeastern outskirts of East Jerusalem, was convicted of attempting to carry out a stabbing attack.
Hamada was arrested on August, 12 2017 in the Damascus Gate area under the pretext of attempting to carry out a stabbing attack.
Hamada is married and has five children, the eldest is 8 years old and the youngest is only one and a half years old.
She has been transferred to several prisons and is now held in HaSharon Prison.
