Israeli court extends detention of two Palestinians from Ya’bad town
Israel’s Salem military court on Monday extended the detention of 17-year-old Qasem Abu Bakr, from Ya’bad town in Jenin, for the seventh consecutive time.
The kid’s mother said the Israeli occupation authority extended the detention of her son for two weeks.
She added that Abu Bakr, who was arrested on April 17, was transferred from al-Jalamah interrogation center to Megiddo jail.
The same court also extended the detention of another prisoner called Ahmed Abu Bakr, from Ya’bad town, for the third time running. He has been in the Petah Tikva interrogation facility for about 25 months.
