Israeli court sends 6 Palestinians to house arrest in Jerusalem
Six Palestinian youths from al-Isawiya village in Jerusalem were sentenced to house arrest by an Israeli court on Thursday, the Palestinian Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs Commission said.
According to the commission, the detainees are Saleh Abu Asab, Anwar Obeid, Nedal Ghannam, Fayez Moheisen, Mohammed Elyyan and Mohammed Mustafa.
Based on the court order, the six-month house arrest will be limited to night hours only.
The detainees were accused of taking part in anti-Israel demonstrations and Molotov cocktail throwing attacks.
