Israeli Settlers Take Over Palestinian Shop In Hebron
Palestinian shop owned by the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs was overtaken by Israeli settlers in the Old City of Hebron
The Head of the legal department at Hebron Rehabilitation Committee Tawfiq Jahshan said that the shop was rented by the Ministry of Awqaf to the Palestinian citizen Abu Khalid Abu Eisha.
Jahshan said that the settlers closed the main door of the shop, located near the illegal settlement of Abraham Avino, prompting Abu Eisha to file a complaint through the Hebron Rehabilitation Committee with the Israeli police.
However, Jahshan added that Israeli police continued to procrastinate and made false allegations to prevent the tenant and the commission from filing a complaint. The Committee would continue the legal process of restoring the store.
