The IOF has carried out retaliatory strikes against Gaza Strip, in response to a rocket that was fired against Israel and landed in open territory, local media report

Israeli jets and artillery targeted multiple sites in Khan Younis and east of Gaza city, according to media reports and witness accounts, apparently targeting Hamas positions.

Israeli warplanes carried out at least two raids on the Gaza Strip, the Palestine News Agency said. Meanwhile, witnesses described the strikes as an “unusually heavy” response to a single rocket, that was presumably fired by resistance and landed in the deserted area of southern Israel earlier in the day, resulting in no reported damage or casualties. Arab media report that reconnaissance aircraft continue to circle the strip.
