Israel’s Shin Bet warns of rise in settlers ‘terror’ attacks against Palestinians
Israel’s security agency Shin Bet warned of an increase in settler violence against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, Israel’s Channel 2 reported
According to the channel, Shin Bet revealed a significant rise in “terrorist” attacks committed by the extremist Jewish groups in the West Bank.
According to the report, the number of terrorist attacks committed by Jewish settlers against Palestinians in the West Bank increased from 200 in 2017 to 300 attacks in 2018.
They included assaults, slashing car tyres and writing racist slogans on the homes of Palestinian villagers.
The report explained that the Jewish terrorist operations against the Palestinian population are increasing due to the fact that the perpetrators are not deterred, punished or arrested.
Moreover, the report warned that crimes similar to the arson attack against the house of the Dawabsheh family could be carried out once again.
