Jewish settlers led by Glick defile Al-Aqsa courtyards
The extremist rabbi Yehuda Glick and dozens of settlers stormed on Monday morning the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Maghareba Gate under Israeli police protection.
The Islamic Endowments Department in Occupied Jerusalem said that the occupation police closed Maghareba Gate at 11 in the morning after the entry of 102 settlers, including the extremist Glick and 5 Jewish students.
It explained that the settlers organized provocative tours in different parts of Al-Aqsa courtyards and performed Talmudic rituals in the eastern area.
The Israeli police opened the Maghareba Gate early in the morning, deployed in the Al-Aqsa courtyards and ensured full protection for the Jewish settlers.
The occupation police also stationed at the Mosque’s gates, checked the ID cards of the arriving Muslim worshipers, and detained some of them.
Al-Aqsa Mosque is witnessing daily, except on Fridays and Saturdays, incursions and violations by settlers and the occupation police and in two shifts in the morning and evening.
