Malki welcomes Dutch parliament’s draft resolution rejecting Israel’s annexation plans
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Riyad al-Malki welcomed the Dutch parliament’s approval of a draft resolution rejecting Israel’s unilateral annexation plans.
He said that the Dutch parliament’s decision strengthens the international front and the EU in confronting Israel’s annexation plans and constitutes a leverage of international law and institutions.
Malki praised the decision as a historical decision that comes at an important time in the history of the Palestinian peoples’ cause, stressing the importance of the decision in taking and adopting a set of measures against Israel in the event it implements its annexation plans
He urged the international community to declare publicly its plans to face Israel’s annexation plans and its colonialization system in order to force Israel to refrain from such plans.
He further urged the international community to promptly act to end the prolonged Israeli occupation and achieve the independence of the Palestinian people in the state of Palestine with East Jerusalem as its capital.
