MP Jamal al-Khudari, head of the Popular Committee against the Siege, said that 2,000 housing units in the Gaza Strip have not been rebuilt since they were completely destroyed in the Israeli war in 2014.

In press remarks on Tuesday, Khudari explained that the lack of funding was the reason for not rebuilding these units, describing the need to reconstruct them as a moral, humanitarian and legal demand.

He appealed to all parties who pledged to donate to Gaza reconstruction to fulfill their financial commitments in this regard, especially since hundreds of families have no homes.
