An unprecedented meeting of the Palestinian diaspora was held in Chile, bringing together the Latin American exodus around culture and traditions

In the congregation all of them wear their Keffiyehs with pride; The traditional Palestinian blanket is a badge of identity and together with the colors green, white, red and black, they symbolize the strength of a people forced to the mass exodus. It was the Taqalid meeting in Chile, a meeting of the Palestinian communities of Latin America around traditions.

Despite the distance and time, all participants in the event feel a deep love for their history. Also attending were Mayors from Beit Lahm (Bethlehem), Beit Sahour and Beit Yala, who thanked the international efforts in favor of Palestine.

Art, gastronomy, culture and traditions. All forms of resistance are valid for the Palestinian people. It is a hundred-year-old resistance against the territorial occupation of the Israeli regime. The Palestinians in Chile reaffirmed their roots and, at the same time, their commitment to a free Palestine.
