A Palestinian young man was injured when Israeli soldiers opened fire at him at the military crossing of Qalandiya in the occupied West Bank.

A video recording showed the young man lying injured on the ground after soldiers gunned him down on allegations of his attempt to carry out a stabbing attack.

A spokesperson for the Israeli occupation army said the Palestinian was neutralized without stating if he was seriously injured or not.

Later, the Hebrew media affirmed that the young man was transferred to hospital in serious condition.
