The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Wednesday morning opened fire at an observation post belonging to the resistance in a border area in the east of Khuza’ah town, south of the besieged Gaza Strip.

A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that a citizen was injured in the shooting attack on the post and rushed to the European Gaza Hospital.

He quoted a medical source as saying that the wounded citizen suffered bullet injuries in his chest and leg.

The shooting incident happened after the Israeli occupation army claimed its forces in southern Gaza came under sniper fire.
