Prisoners Sa’yeh and Abu Diyak face slow death in Israeli jails

The Palestinian Commission of Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs has warned that Palestinian prisoners Bassam al-Sa’yeh and Sami Abu Diyak, who suffer from life-threatening health problems, could die any moment.

“The conditions of Sa’yeh and Abu Diyak are still very critical and there are no improvements in their health status,” head of the Commission Qadri Abu Baker said in press remarks on Tuesday.

“Today, I will ask representatives from the Red Cross to visit them in order to check on their health and provide us with more details about their suffering and the slow death they are being expose to at the hands of the Israeli Prison Service,” Abu Baker affirmed.
