The Palestinian and human rights communities and organizations of Latin America and the Caribbean, say:

Faced with the savage aggression of the forces of the Zionist occupation against the Palestinian civilian population in the Gaza Strip, aggression that caused dozens of martyrs and wounded in less than 72 hours and the destruction of homes and civil buildings such as universities and the headquarters of the Canal Satellite Al-Aqsa:

 

• We strongly condemn the aggression of the Zionist State and its military forces.

 

• We reject all US-Israeli measures based on the so-called Agreement of the Century, whose objective is to liquidate the Palestinian cause, and of which the constant aggressions of the Israeli occupation are part, together with the de-financing of the UNRWA, the redefinition of the refugee concept excluding the descendants born in exile and the declaration of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, among others.

 

• We demand that the community and international organizations assume their responsibilities by imposing on Israel its obligation to respect and facilitate the implementation of the Right of Return, pursuant to Resolution 194 of the UN General Assembly, which enshrines the right of all Palestinian refugees to return to their homes and recover their properties from which they were forcibly expelled since 1948.

 

• We demand the intervention of the UN and its Security Council to put an end to the offensive and blockade imposed by Israel against the population of Gaza.

 

• We support, as a result, the massive demonstrations that our people in Gaza have held since March 30, in protest of their right to return and demanding the end of the blockade, which has cost our people more than 200 martyrs and more than 20,000 wounded.

 

• We demand the release of all Palestinian political prisoners.

 

• We demand that the Palestinian Authority lift the sanctions against Gaza and put an end to security coordination with the forces of the Zionist occupation.

 

• We support all forms of resistance against the Zionist occupation, by virtue of Resolution 3070 of the UN General Assembly.

 

• We invite all the communities and friends of the Palestinian people to organize marches, rallies or events in the capitals of the continent in support of the Palestinian people and their national rights, especially in the month of November and in commemoration of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.
