Russia to open trade representative offices in Palestine
Russia will open trade representative offices in Palestine, a Russian diplomat said today.
Speaking during a meeting with National Economy Minister Khaled Ossaili in Ramallah, Representative of the Russian Federation to Palestine, Gocha Buachidze, stated that his country will open trade offices in Bethlehem, Hebron and Nablus districts.
He pointed out that the offices would help strengthen the economic cooperation relations, increase the volume of commercial exchanges between the two sides, and pave the way to making mutual Palestinian-Russian investments in Palestine.
He added that his country would send medical supplies to Palestine in support of the Palestinian government’s efforts in combating the novel coronavirus spread.
Ossaili and Buachidze agreed to convene the Joint Governmental Palestinian-Russian Committee for Trade and Economic Cooperation.
