Settlers bar farmers from going to their lands in southern Nablus
A horde of Jewish settlers escorted by Israeli soldiers prevented Palestinian farmers from going to their cultivated lands in as-Sawiya town, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
Local sources said that the soldiers asked the farmers to prove their ownership to their agricultural plots of land in al-Talmah area in as-Sawiya plains before expelling them.
The local residents and their property in the town are exposed to systematic harassment and assaults by Jewish settlers and Israeli soldiers.
In Bethlehem, the Israeli occupation army notified a Palestinian citizen called Mohamed Abu Hammad of its intent to demolish an agricultural structure belonging to him in Jurat ash-Sham'ah village at the pretext of unlicensed construction.
