A horde of Jewish settlers escorted by soldiers placed, on Sunday evening, tents on Palestinian-owned lands in Biddya village, west of Salfit in the occupied West Bank.

ccording to local sources, those settlers are planning to seize the lands they pitched their tents on in Khilat Hassan area, exploiting the general Palestinian preoccupation with the efforts to fight coronavirus in the West Bank.

In this regard, Palestinian activists called on all residents of nearby villages to march to Biddya village to protect it against settlers’ intents to take over its lands.

In a separate incident, two Palestinian citizens suffered bullet injuries in Biddya village earlier on the same day after settlers attacked them. The victims were rushed to Salfit Hospital.
