Seven Palestinian homes in Aqabat Jaber receive stop-work orders
The Israeli occupation army’s civil administration on Monday delivered stop-work orders against seven Palestinian homes in Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, southwest of Jericho (Ariha) at the pretext of unlicensed construction.
Local activist Arif Daraghmeh said that the civil administration claims that these homes were not licensed, adding that five of them were already inhabited by families.
Palestinian homes in the Israeli-controlled Area C of the West Bank are systematically exposed to demolition threats and construction restrictions, with the aim of forcing the local residents to leave their areas.
