Dozens of Palestinian citizens choked on tear gas fired by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) during the weekly demonstration in Kafr Qaddum village near Qalqilya.

Activist Murad Shtewi said that the IOF attacked the peaceful demonstrators with rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas grenades.

Dozens suffered breathing difficulties as a result of inhaling tear gas, Shtewi added.

Every Friday, the Palestinian residents of Kafr Qaddum hold a march in protest at the Israeli seizure of Palestinian land in favor of settlement construction. The demonstration also calls for opening the main road of the village which has been closed for 16 years.
