The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Wednesday night killed a Palestinian teenager in the west of Ramallah.

Local sources told a reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that 16-year-old Mohamed Matar died of a serious bullet injury he sustained last night.

The kid was detained by Israeli soldiers after wounding him and others during night clashes with local youths in Deir Abu Masha'al village in Ramallah, and his death was announced later on Thursday morning.

Other two young men also suffered bullet injuries during the same events and were rushed by Red Crescent ambulance crews to local hospitals.

There is no information if the Israeli army will hand over the body of the slain kid to the Palestinian side.
