Thousands of Palestinians perform Friday prayer at Al-Aqsa
Thousands of Muslim worshipers reached the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque and performed the Friday prayer in its courtyards despite the restrictions of the Israeli occupation authorities.
On Friday morning, the Israeli police were deployed at several points in Occupied Jerusalem and set up iron barriers at al-Amud Gate, al-Asbat Gate and the entrances to the Old City.
The occupation police prevented many Palestinians from reaching the Mosque and praying in it.
Last week, 569 Jewish settlers and dozens of Israeli police stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and performed Talmudic rituals.
Several extremist settler leaders participated in the incursions, led by Yehuda Glick who participated in performing religious rituals and conducting provocative tours.
