Three new corona deaths, 569 new cases reported in Palestinian areas
The Palestinian health ministry has reported three new deaths associated with COVID-19 (coronavirus), 596 new positive tests, and 1,270 recoveries in Palestinian areas during the last 24 hours.
According to its daily report on Thursday, the rate of recovery among COVID-19 patients in al-Khalil has risen to 30.3 percent.
The report pointed to the presence of a noticeable increase in the number of people infected with coronavirus in Jerusalem, where 306 new persons have tested positive for COVID-19.
32 new cases have also been recorded in the province of Ramallah and Bireh, 167 in al-Khalil, 2 in Tulkarem, 15 in Bethlehem, 6 in Salfit, 2 in Jenin, 48 in Nablus, 10 in Jericho and the Jordan Valley, 5 in Qalqilya and 3 in Tubas.
Three patients reportedly died of coronavirus infections during the past 24 hours in al-Khalil province.
16 critically ill patients have also been admitted to intensive care units and five others have been placed on ventilators, according to the report.
