Two Hunger Striking Prisoners Moved To Ramla Prison Hospital
The Palestinian Prisoners Media Office on Wednesday said that the Israel Prison Service (IPS) transferred two hunger striking detainees to Ramla prison hospital
The Media Office said in a brief statement that two prisoners taking part in the new mass hunger strike Karama (dignity) 2 were moved from Ramon jail to Ramla prison hospital after they refused to drink water.
Hundreds of Palestinians in Israeli jails started an open-ended hunger strike on Monday after the IPS refused to respond to their demands. Many others joined them on Tuesday.
The hunger strikers are protesting the harsh detention conditions, the cancer-causing cellphone jammers installed in the prison cells, the family visit ban imposed on hundreds of detainees, and other punitive measures waged against them by the IPS lately.
