The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has allowed an Israeli delegation of senior officials to enter the country to participate in an international conference on fighting corruption being held in Abu Dhabi.

UAE is hosting the eighth conference of the states parties to the UN convention against corruption, which has kicked off today, Monday (December 16).

The Israeli delegation is led by deputy attorney general Dina Zilber and composed of senior officials from the public prosecution, criminal investigation and justice authorities

In early December, the Israeli foreign ministry had sent an official delegation to Dubai to attend the preparatory meeting for the participants in Expo 2020, which Israel will participate in after receiving an invitation from the UAE leadership.
