In recent days the illegal and illegitimate state government of Israel has launched new attacks on Gaza. Israel was created illegally

There is no legitimacy in international law for the creation of the State of Israel (we present the arguments of this thesis in the book "The Palestinian Question: War, Politics and International Relations", published by Popular Publishing). Israel is the result of 50 years of activity by the colonialist movement called "Zionism" (1897/1947), British colonialism (1918/1948) and the US initiative (with the support of Brazil and other countries) to present a "Palestine Sharing Plan" (11/29/1947). Zionism is a colonialist, antidemocratic and racist movement, it always wanted to expel the Arabs from Palestine. Every Zionist is a supporter of Israeli colonialism in Palestine. In Brazil, within left-wing parties, especially the PT, and even in important popular movements, today there are people who call themselves "left-wing Zionists." "Left Zionists" are the sympathetic face of this colonialist movement. It's something like Obama and Hillary Clinton, the friendly face of US imperialism, while Trump is unmasked imperialism. And these "left-wing Zionists" have their allies and sympathizers, who do not claim to be Zionists, but defend Zionist ideas, such as recognition of the legitimacy of the existence of the State of Israel. And they are among us, parties and movements of the Brazilian left. The Zionists will never negotiate. Zionists will never accept a Palestinian state, because Zionism wants to control all of Palestine and other Arab territories.

But the Palestinian people have built a national liberation movement with the ability to resist in any circumstance.

What we can learn from the Palestinian Resistance organizations, such as the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), Hamas, Islamic Jihad, the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade and many others who decide to continue fighting against colonialism Israeli?

1- It is necessary to combine different forms of struggle and different forms of organization;

2- Maintain firm the principles, values and program that gave rise to the movement, in this case, the end of Israeli colonialism and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, from the Mediterranean Sea to the Jordan River.

3- Never trust or ally with the enemy.

4- Never make concessions that may weaken the movement or that means abandoning the principles, values or program that has served as a reference for the continuity of resistance.

5- If it is guided by the principle of reciprocity, that is, if the enemy wants to dialogue, if dialogue is organized, if the enemy wants to fight, then combat is organized.

6- Never cower in front of the enemy, even when supposedly it possesses greater military power.

7- Follow the path of Vietnam and Lebanon, where the prolonged popular resistance war has proved that victory is possible when you have the courage, daring, determination and willingness to face the enemy even under very difficult conditions.

8- Understand that the cost from a human, economic and social point of view, for those who resist Zionism, colonialism and imperialism will always be high, but at the end of that journey the people will find their full liberation, and the enemy will be defeated.

The Palestinian people will win. But the moment demands of the Brazilian people greater solidarity with this popular revolution that has so much to teach us. Let's look at Gaza and remove from this example of resistance the courage and daring necessary to face the main ally of the Israeli government in Latin America, which will be the Brazilian government of Jair Bolsonaro. We will press the new Brazilian government to comply with UN resolutions on the Palestinian issue. We are going to denounce the violations of human rights practiced by the government of Israel. We will fight to ensure the right of return for Palestinian refugees, as advocated by the Global Campaign for Return to Palestine and UN Resolution 194. We will fight to reaffirm that Jerusalem is the capital of the State of Palestine, and for Brazil to maintain its embassy in Tel Aviv. We will denounce the new Israeli offensive against the population of Gaza, as the IBRASPAL Brazil-Palestine Institute has done.

Let's be alert for Zionist infiltration within the Brazilian left. Zionism is colonialism! Long live the Palestinian Revolution! The Palestinian people have secured the right to resist to defend and defend their homeland in the face of Zionist colonialism!
